Job Summary:
The Finance Manager oversees Inchcape Kenya’s financial performance and governance, driving revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow optimization. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk management, ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence. The Finance Manager partners closely with business leaders to provide strategic insights, strengthen financial controls, and deliver sustainable value creation while upholding Inchcape’s standards of ethics, efficiency, and performance.
Job Description:
- Lead the preparation and execution of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term strategic plans in line with business objectives.
- Drive accurate, timely financial reporting and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with Inchcape and Group standards.
- Provide strategic financial advice and insights to support management decisions and business growth.
- Monitor key financial metrics (revenue, profit, cash flow, working capital) and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Strengthen cost control, improve operational efficiency, and ensure optimal use of financial resources.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, taxation, and treasury operations to safeguard company assets.
- Maintain robust financial systems, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
- Foster strong business partnerships across departments, supporting commercial decision-making and investment evaluation.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Finance team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners including banks, auditors, and consultants.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior finance management with proven commercial impact.
- Strong background in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in financial systems (Excel, SAP/WMS, Autoline, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
- High integrity, ethical standards, and results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at senior levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed business environment.
