Our Story

At Inchcape, we are a global leader in automotive distribution and retail, representing some of the world's most iconic vehicle brands. Our commitment to excellence ensures that we deliver outstanding customer experiences and operational efficiency across our supply chain.

About the Role

This position is responsible for leading the Accessories Category for light commercial vehicles and light trucks across the assigned brands and markets. You will take ownership of the full product lifecycle, manage supplier relationships, oversee commercial outcomes, and ensure the accessory range remains competitive and aligned to customer needs. A key focus of this role is developing and delivering accessory programs that strengthen network profitability and elevate the overall customer experience.

Success in this role is driven by structured planning, strong commercial insight, and collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll use data‑led decision‑making and market understanding to grow the category, support brand strategies, and deliver meaningful value across the dealer network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the accessories portfolio for light commercial vehicles and light trucks across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing product lifecycles, new product identification, and market competitiveness.

  • Manage accessory programs and relationships with vehicle manufacturers, ensuring alignment with engineering, product, design, warranty, and brand requirements from development through to post‑launch improvement.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, dealer networks, brand leaders, and cross‑functional teams to ensure commercial value, compliance, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive commercial performance by analysing sales trends, pricing, profitability, and dealer behaviour, developing category plans, preparing business cases, and leading campaigns to achieve revenue and margin targets.

  • Oversee operational readiness by coordinating supply planning, inventory alignment, cost modelling, and launch preparation for new models and special‑edition accessory bundles.

  • Champion best‑practice processes across quality, compliance, policy, and customer service, ensuring regulatory alignment and delivering timely communication and support to internal teams and manufacturer partners.

About You

  • Proven background 3–5 years in automotive parts, accessories, product, or aftersales roles, ideally with exposure to light commercial or light‑truck product lines and previous collaboration with vehicle manufacturers or importers.

  • Strong financial literacy with experience managing pricing models, category‑level decisions, profit and loss inputs, and interpreting margin structures, supported by a commercial mindset and strong analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders, suppliers, dealer networks across Australia and New Zealand, and cross‑functional teams including engineering, technical, warranty, and legal functions.

  • Full driver’s licence (with light‑rigid or medium‑rigid licences ideal), supported by relevant qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, or supply chain, plus strong communication, planning, relationship‑building, and customer‑focused skills.
