We're looking for an exceptional Training Manager - Subaru to lead capability development across our dealer network. The Opportunity

This is more than a training role—it's an opportunity to drive learning, capability and performance across Subaru's dealer network.

Reporting to the Director Network Development & Operations, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training programs that build product knowledge, strengthen sales capability, enhance customer interactions and improve overall network performance. You'll work closely with dealer teams and internal stakeholders to create impactful learning experiences that support both business objectives and customer outcomes.

You will:

• Develop and execute a training strategy focused on product knowledge, brand differentiation and consultative sales capability.

• Design and deliver engaging face-to-face, virtual and e-learning programs for dealer and internal teams.

• Create learning pathways that support performance outcomes and manufacturer objectives across sales and customer-facing teams.

• Manage and maintain training content and activity within the Learning Management System.

• Conduct training needs analysis and develop annual learning plans aligned to business priorities.

• Lead dealer network drive experience programs, product launches and capability initiatives.

• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide meaningful insights and reporting to stakeholders.

• Partner with Regional Field Representatives and the broader Network Development team to drive dealer capability and adherence to training standards.

• Build strong relationships across the retail network and act as a trusted advisor on learning and development matters.

• Manage training expenditure and activities within agreed budgets while ensuring compliance with all manufacturer and Inchcape requirements.

About You

You are an experienced learning and development professional who thrives on helping others succeed. You have a natural ability to engage audiences, build relationships quickly and communicate complex concepts in a clear and practical way.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience within learning and development, training delivery or capability development.

• Automotive industry experience and a strong understanding of dealership operations.

• Outstanding presentation, facilitation and communication skills.

• The ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• A passion for inspiring, coaching and developing others.

• Strong planning, organisation and execution skills.

• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning platforms will be highly regarded.

• Willingness to travel as required.
