  • Ensure dealer adherence to brand standards, facility requirements, and operational guidelines.
  • Prepare management reports summarizing network performance and strategic recommendations.

3. Dealer Capability & Training Leadership

  • Develop the Dealer Training Roadmap encompassing sales, aftersales, customer service, and leadership development.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs (in-person, virtual, LMS-based) to ensure dealer staff meet Changan’s competency standards.
  • Collaborate with regional/Changan global teams to harmonize training content and certification requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, performance metrics, and dealer feedback.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement across dealer organizations through structured development pathways.
(Training components are expanded based on typical L&D leadership responsibilities and Inchcape’s emphasis on capability development noted in their job culture.)

4. Cross-Functional Integration

  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Aftersales to ensure seamless execution of network strategies and dealer programs.
  • Provide guidance to dealers on marketing initiatives, product launches, promotions, and incentive programs.

5. Industry & Competitor Monitoring

  • Monitor emerging trends, government regulations, and market shifts affecting automotive distribution.
  • Benchmark dealer standards and training trends to maintain competitiveness.
