What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair work on customer vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently within established productivity standards.
- Perform quality checks and road tests to ensure repairs meet company and manufacturer requirements.
- Communicate technical findings and repair recommendations to Service Advisors and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and repair status.
- Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards, housekeeping requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in technical training programs and continuously develop product knowledge and technical skills.
About you
- A graduate of Automotive Technology, Automotive Servicing, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical course.
- With at least 1–2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance; dealership experience is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in automotive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
- Skilled in using workshop tools, equipment, and computerized diagnostic systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Committed to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Holder of a valid driver's license (preferred).
- Willing to work onsite and render overtime when operationally required.
