SUMMARY

The Tinsmith Technician involves cutting, forming, straightening, and repairing sheet metal or aluminum surfaces of vehicles. It also includes sanding and grinding the shaped or repaired metal / aluminum surface and joints of welded or brazed to comply with the required finish.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Checks content of repair order (RO)
  • availability of service parts and special tools
  • check customer concerns, or have special instructions
  • defined dates
  • Review the repair order and job to be performed.
  • Registers work time (Clock “in”)
  • Conduct Tinsmithing work
  • Carries out service care based on Bodyshop order ( properly sanded, cleaned and masked before paint)
  • Conducts repairing body parts of car.
  • Checks and documents completion of repair order
  • Documents unfinished work (if there’s any additional parts)
  • Register working hours (Clock “out”)

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Education

Bachelor’s degree of Automotive or any technical course of Automotive

              

  • Experience

       At least two years’ work-related experience in an Automotive industry

 

  • Licensure and Certification
