Purpose of Role: 

 

The Compensation & Benefits (Comp & Ben) Associate is responsible for supporting the administration and implementation of compensation and benefits programs. This includes assisting in payroll processing, time keeping, benefits enrollment, maintaining employee records, compliance reporting (e.g. DOLE reports), responding to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits matters and assisting in internal audits and documentation.

 

 

Job Role and Responsibilities: 

 

Benefits

  • Review and explore other benefits that can help maintain a high level of employee engagement.
  • Participate in the salary market review through Mercer and conduct an annual salary review to present to the People Head and Finance. Provides guidance in the creation of competitive salary ranges of all positions in the company.
  • Partner with vendors such as Life Insurance and HMO providers
  • Review all billings related to our partnered providers
  • Drive and manage annual processes like Merit Increase, Bonus and Incentives
  • Assist employees’ concerns on benefits (i.e., Claims, Coordination with benefits providers – HMO/GLI/SSS/PAGIBIG).
  • Facilitate the APE, ensuring 100% compliance and regularly review doctor’s recommendations and employees follow up test or checkup.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding salary, deductions, benefits eligibility, and claim status.
  • Support ad hoc HR projects and other tasks assigned by the HR Manager
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

PeopleHub and Documentation

  • Maintain our DDC Masterfile and keep it always up to date.
  • Input and update compensation and benefits data in the Masterfile.
  • Assist in generating regular reports for internal use or regulatory submission.

Government Compliance & Reporting

  • DOLE monthly reporting (redundancy, termination, employer’s work accident, illness)
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor standards and statutory benefits requirements.
  • Coordinate with government agencies for processing of employee benefits and company registrations.
  • Assist during compliance audits and facilitate document preparation and submission.

 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits or general HR administration.
  • Prior experience working with government reporting (e.g., DOLE, SSS, PAGIBIG) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee records management preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with HRIS tools (e.g., PeopleHub or similar systems).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to handle employee inquiries and coordinate with vendors.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to support data-driven decisions (e.g., salary benchmarking and benefits analysis).
  • Willingness to assist in ad hoc tasks and HR projects as needed.
