We’re looking for an L1 Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security team and support day‑to‑day security operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their cybersecurity career to gain hands‑on experience, work with modern security tools, and collaborate closely with senior security professionals.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining security controls, responding to first‑line incidents, and helping automate and improve security processes.

What you'll do

• Support the management and maintenance of security tools
• Handle first‑level security service requests and operational incidents, escalating when needed
• Assist in security incident response to ensure quick containment and resolution
• Create and improve repeatable and automated security processes
• Perform basic vulnerability assessments and document findings
• Work closely with Security Analysts, SOC Leads, and Threat Management teams
• Continuously develop your technical and security skills

What we're looking for

• 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related field
• Open to fresh graduates looking to start their career in Cyber security
• Familiarity with tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint protection
• Basic coding or scripting knowledge (APIs, Python, PowerShell, Power Platform – BI, Automate, Apps)
• Understanding of security fundamentals, monitoring, and incident response
• Security+ or similar certifications are a plus
• Strong communication skills in English
