Purpose of Role:
The People Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the People Manger in the development of Inchcape Global Business Services – Asia Pacific (iGBS-APAC) from ramp up (Q3 2025) through to steady state operation (Q2 2026) before transitioning into a BAU operation. This is a key role in establishing this culture of this new business.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
The role is a generalist role responsible for; business partnering, recruitment, capability & development, payroll support, performance management, rewards & recognition, employee relations, account management, wellbeing, health & safety, eNPS survey, HRIS support and leadership. This role is supported by a regional People shared services team.
- Strategic HR Partnering
- Develop as understanding of the business objectives, challenges, and priorities to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Work closely with Tower leaders to provide expert guidance on HR matters, including talent review, capacity planning, and performance improvement
- Talent and Performance Management
- Support the implementation of the performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Identify high-potential employees and work on succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline
- Engagement
- Support and execute monthly engagement activities, assisting with planning, conceptualization and execution.
- POC for vendor management during big events
- Employee Relation
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Handle employee relations matter, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Organizational Development
- Support initiatives related to organizational culture, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being.
- Drive the eNPS survey results and actions
- Compliance and Policies
- Updated with employment laws and regulations to ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures are in compliance with legal requirements.
- Change Management
- Support the implementation of organizational changes, such as restructuring, mergers or process improvements, by communicating effectively with employees and managing potential resistance.
- Training and Development
- Support training administration activities
- Delivery non-technical trainings
- Data Integrity
- PeopleHub: Ensuring data accuracy, integrity and generating reports and insights to support decision making and reporting.
- HR Analytics
- Utilize HR data and metrics such as ENPS, Attrition report, Exit Interview responses, Market reviews - to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes and decision-making.
- All ad hoc tasks assigned
Qualifications:
Ideal experience:
- It would be advantageous to have experience in in a ramp up environment, BPO or finance processing centre
- Generalist HR experience
- Experience delivering a Business Partner model to multiple leaders
- Proven expertise in defining and delivering a people/organization strategy aligned to business strategy
- Strong HR operational capability, including sound knowledge of labour law
- Work independently

- Ability to work collaboratively with in-market, regional and group stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable; a proven track record of and preference for working in change environments with ambiguity.
- Self-starter; highly skilled and hands on in both creating clear strategies and plans and delivering practical, pragmatic actions
- Skilled in solution generation – with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and approach to overcoming obstacles
