You’ll play a key part in designing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes within automotive production lines.
What you’ll do:
1. Process Design & Optimization
- Develop, document, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for assembly lines
- Create process flowcharts, work instructions, and technical specifications
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity
2. Tooling & Equipment Management
- Design, validate, and implement tools, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment
- Ensure equipment capability meets production and quality requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for tooling development and upgrades
3. Line Balancing & Layout Planning
- Conduct capacity planning and optimize manpower allocation
- Perform line balancing to ensure smooth production flow
- Design and simulate production line layouts, including automated systems
4. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions
- Support trial runs, pilot production, and mass production ramp-up
- Drive cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and defect reduction initiatives
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with OEM, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams
- Support implementation of new technologies, automation, and process changes
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 of experience in automotive or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of production processes, tooling, and automation systems
- Experience in line balancing, capacity planning, and process simulation
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
