The Product Specialist is mainly responsible for establishing new products in the market/competitor analysis and calculation of price premium. He is also responsible for brand planning, ensure proper homologation of new and existing products.




  • Identify Commercial Vehicle Market preferences and requirements to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Monitor Pricing from RCSEA (Vehicle, Accessories and CTT) generated from SAM
  • Work hand in hand with Sales Group to determine sales potential and inventory requirements
  • Prepare Order Management and Planning (Production, Shipment and Arrival) based on RCSEA Yearly Targets, Internal Targets and Delear Targets.
  • Attend Kufri Meetings together with Sales, Planning & Business Devt. Team
  • Closely communicate with Technical Specialist on Vehicle Specifications and updates from Global and Regional Tools such as Product Information Tool, Bodybuilder Portal,Bodybuilder Guide and Library.
  • Attend internal and external workshops/trainings related to Local Regulations. 
  • Meet with Local Body Builders for business opportunities available in Commercial Vehicle Industry.
  • Communicate with Distributor and Retail Group, including Dealer Network on Local Regulations, Policies and Operating procedures to ensure compliance and functional effectiveness of business.
  • Cascade to both Distributor and Retail Group any updates from Global and Regional.
  • Study Competitive Pricing and Establish Market Intelligence Templates for Commercial Vehicle Group Categories.
  • Create a monitoring file for Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Specifications vis-à-vis Competitor Products
  • Attend Commercial Vehicle Related Exhibits for Market Familiarization and updated Competitor Product Offers.
  • Handle administrative requests and queries from senior managers
  • Manage data in spreadsheets and report templates
  • Ensure organization of Departamental required documents and reports that may be generated through assigned company platforms and or softwares.



  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering or any related course
  • At least 2 years related work experience in Product Management;
  • At least 2 years work experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Market Trends and Analysis covering both macro-economics and premium automotive segments, Sales Data Analysis, Customer Target Methodology, In-depth understanding of product pricing, Strategic Thinking, Excellent Communication skills, and CAdaptability, Attentive, Analytical, Collaborative, Highly organized, Innovative, Self-driven and able to be of direct influence to othersustomer Service competence, Interpersonal skills

  • Office based – 95 %
