Technician / Truck Electrician - Commercial Vehicles

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in tractor heads and trailers
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, and components, including but not limited to batteries, alternators, electronic fuel injection systems, ABS systems, and various sensors.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicles are in top working condition
• Use diagnostic testing equipment to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Collaborate with other automotive professionals, such as mechanics and technicians, to ensure comprehensive vehicle care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive electrical systems
• Proven experience as an auto electrician, preferably with trucks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Proficiency with diagnostic testing equipment
