We are looking for a new colleague to join our People team at the position of SENIOR PAYROLL AND HR ANALYTICS SPECIALIST!
As a Senior Payroll and HR Analytics Specialist you will manage the payroll processes, track HR budget and KPIs, contribute to efficient processes and compliance. This role will provide a great opportunity to combine expertise in payroll management, HR data analytics, compensation and rewards, budgeting, and process optimization.
MAIN TASKS IN THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE
• Organize and prepare monthly payroll process and handle payroll related queries.
• Prepare payroll reports and accruals, provide input during month-end closing in strong collaboration with finance team.
• Prepare and monitor annual HR budget, forecast costs, analyse actual budget spending and explain variances.
• Provide input to salary surveys and position benchmarking.
• Generate compensation related reports, provide various HR KPI data, trends and analysis, identify and suggest improvement areas.
• Administer compensation structures (e.g. bonuses, shares program).
• Ensure payroll data quality and accuracy, leverage tools and systems used.
• Provide data and assist audits regarding payroll.
• Optimize payroll and budgeting process, establish streamlined operations and efficient data flow.
• Participate in local and regional projects and initiatives related to compensation and benefits, payroll, budgeting and data analytics.
WE EXPECT OUR CANDIDATES TO HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll management, HR budgeting, process optimization, or compensation analytics.
• Proven expertise in payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Horizon) and analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, advanced MS Excel).
• Strong understanding of HR budget management and month-end financial closing processes.
• Strong understanding of Latvian Labor law and compensation related legal requirements.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to explain complex variances.
• Fluency in Latvian and English as the position will require communication with regional colleagues.
• Great communication and teamwork skills, proactive, can-do attitude.
