JOB SUMMARY 

The Sales Executive represents the organization at the frontline of the customer journey, responsible for delivering both sales performance and high-quality customer experience. 

 

The role ensures consistent and professional showroom presence, prompt and effective lead management, and accurate product communication to customers. Beyond transactional selling, the role is expected to act as a trusted advisor, building strong customer relationships and guiding customers through the purchase journey with confidence and credibility. 

 

Success in this role requires the ability to balance commercial outcomes with customer-centric engagement, ensuring both sales targets and customer satisfaction standards are achieved. 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  1. Key Roles 

  • Responsible for delivering premium, consultative, customer-centric retail experience by acting as a product expert and trusted advisor, guiding customers toward the right solution rather than a transactional sale. 

  • Understanding customer needs and guiding customers through the purchase process by executing the 8-step Sales Playbook process.  

  • Achieving KPI on Personal sales volume, Lead response time, Test drive conversion, Closing ratio, Customer satisfaction. 

 

 

  1. Customer Engagement & Sales Journey Responsibilities 

  • Proactively greeting all customers entering the showroom in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner. 

  • Understand customer needs through effective questioning and active listening. 

  • Create an atmosphere of trust, comfort, and transparency. 

  • Conduct needs analysis based on lifestyle, usage, budget, and preferences. 

  • Present suitable models and variants aligned with customer requirements. 

  • Demonstrate vehicle features, safety technologies, and unique selling points. 

  • Arrange and conduct test drives with clear product storytelling. 

  • Address customer questions, objections, and concerns confidently and accurately. 

  • Prepare quotations and explain pricing, promotions, and financing options. 

  • Guide customers through documentation, booking confirmation, and order process. 

  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospects to maximize conversion. 

  • Deliver vehicles professionally and ensure a smooth handover experience. 

 

  1. Product Knowledge & Consultation 

  • Develop strong knowledge of models, variants, specifications, and pricing. 

  • Understand brand DNA, including safety philosophy, AWD system, and Boxer engine technology. 

  • Explain technical features in clear, customer-friendly language. 

  • Translating features into customer benefits 

  • Stay updated on new model launches, enhancements, and accessories. 

  • Demonstrate credibility as a product specialist and trusted advisor. 

 

  1. Customer Inquiry & Relationship Management 

  • Respond to leads within Sales Lead Agreement. 

  • Maintain accurate CRM records 

  • Handle walk-in, phone, digital, and referral inquiries professionally. 

  • Respond to customer questions promptly and knowledgeably. 

  • Manage customer database and follow-up schedules. 

  • Ensure accurate communication regarding delivery timelines and vehicle availability. 

  • Maintain long-term relationships to encourage repeat purchases and referrals. 

 

  1. Showroom, Brand & Customer Experience Management 

  • Maintain showroom cleanliness, vehicle presentation, and merchandising standards. 

  • Ensure display vehicles are clean, fuelled, and ready for demonstration. 

  • Monitor showroom layout and customer flow experience. 

  • Uphold brand standards at all customer touchpoints. 

  • Support showroom events, launches, and promotional activities. 

 

  1. Test Drive & Demonstration 

  • Conduct safe, structured test drives. 

  • Highlight confidence, safety, and stability. 

  • Prepare vehicles for demonstration 

 

  1. Collaboration & Internal Coordination 

  • Work closely with sales supervisors to achieve individual and team targets. 

  • Coordinate with marketing team on campaigns, showroom activities, and events. 

  • Liaise with admin, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transactions. 

  • Provide market and customer feedback to management. 

  • Contribute positively to team culture and dealership performance. 

 

  1. Sales Performance & Accountability 

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by management. 

  • Track personal sales pipeline and lead conversions. 

  • Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates. 

  • Participate in sales meetings, training, and coaching sessions. 

  • Continuously improving sales performance and customer satisfaction scores.

  • Valid driving license.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum Diploma or higher in Business, Marketing, or related fields.  

  • Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience in automotive, retail, or customer-facing industries. 

OR 

  • Candidates without a Diploma must have a minimum of years of relevant experience in automotive or customer-facing sales roles. 

And  

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.  

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships.  

  • Basic proficiency in digital tools and CRM systems.  

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.  

  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays based on showroom operations.
