Key Responsibilities

  1. Merchandise Planning & Management

    • Identify customer needs and trends in the automotive industry.
    • Select, source, and procure automotive products, branded merchandise, and accessories.
    • Ensure appropriate inventory levels by coordinating with suppliers and monitoring stock.
  2. Product Presentation & Display

    • Develop and implement strategies for visual merchandising in-store and online.
    • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create appealing displays and promotional materials.
    • Regularly review and update merchandising layouts to maximize sales.
  3. Sales Optimization

    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify best-selling products and underperforming items.
    • Suggest and execute pricing strategies, discounts, and promotional offers to increase revenue.
    • Train sales staff on product features, benefits, and selling points to improve customer experience.
  4. Vendor and Supplier Coordination

    • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  5. E-commerce & Online Sales Support

    • Work with e-commerce teams to list products accurately and attractively on digital platforms.
    • Optimize search and category placements to enhance online visibility and conversions.
  6. Customer Engagement

    • Gather feedback from customers and incorporate insights into product selection.
    • Develop strategies to increase customer loyalty through exclusive products or promotions.
  7. Administrative Duties

    • Manage budgets for merchandise procurement and promotions.
    • Prepare reports on inventory, sales performance, and profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of automotive products, parts, and accessories.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and sales analytics tools.
  • Experience in visual merchandising or retail marketing (preferred).
  • Ability to analyze sales trends and market data.

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in retail, merchandising, or the automotive industry.
