SUMMARY

As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative technology solutions for finance operations in the APAC region.

 

The FP&A Supervisor works closely with business partners in the market to streamline workflows and increase efficiency and accuracy. Unlike traditional accounting services, we leverage our expertise in systems integration and process automation to provide end-to-end operational support to the markets.

 

Our ideal candidate is someone who has background in both financial and technology and has experience developing and implementing solutions to optimize financial processes. You will work closely with our IT and finance departments to identify improvement opportunities and drive innovation through technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Regional Operational Support

  • Support the month-end close and regular planning process by data preparation and consolidation
  • Support day-to-day data integration, quality assurance and correction (i.e. adjustments) activities
  • Drive automation initiatives for daily operational activities
  • Perform data quality improvement activities with the Business Intelligence team
  • Support data analysis and investigation activities
  • Work closely with finance team in APAC region (incl. mapping maintenance)

 

New Financial Application Development

  • Assist in the design of the solution and integration architecture
  • Assist with vendor selection
  • Gather user requirements and design system solutions with vendors
  • Perform preliminary system testing based on provided requirements
  • Organize and support UAT exercises in projects
  • Prepare materials and support user training for system deployment
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOP) for planning processes
  • Support transformational changes on system and processes

Continuous Improvement

  • Manage internal (i.e. in-house) development of new functionalities in planning tools, i.e. Anaplan / Jedox
  • Explore and implement new workflow automation using Anaplan / Alteryx scripts
  • Own and optimize standard operating procedures (SOP) for planning processes
  • Work with vendors for new automation opportunities and coordinate new project initiatives
  • Achieve target service level for customer support

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
    •  College degree in accounting or finance related field with CPA qualification

 

  • Experience
    •  At least 5 years of accounting or relevant experience, particularly in system accounting and financial planning

 

  • Licensure and Certification
    •  Certified Public Accountant License

    • Experience implementing financial applications / reporting tools, e.g. Anaplan / Jedox, SAP BPC, Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Alteryx is a plus

    •  Basic database design and SQL skills
  • Abilities
    • Ability to collaborate with other teams across the region
    • Ability to work in a team, take initiative, pay attention to detail and manage time well, experience in working under shared service centres is preferrable
