POSITION OBJECTIVES (JOB SUMMARY)

The Finance and Insurance Specialist is mainly responsible for providing support to the Sales Department regarding customer financing, insurance, and other ancillary product requirements.

 

Ensures completion of F and I documents and requirements for accurate and effective collection of sales receivables from Banks and Auto Financing institutions.

 

F&I Specialist is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.

KEY RESULTS AREA

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. SALES/ CLIENT SERVICING ( 40% )
  • Offering vehicle financing, insurance, and other ancillary products and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and Extended Warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.

 

  • Entails selling the customer as many products and services as possible to achieve profitable transactions for the dealer.

 

  • Entertains calls, requests for financing and insurance quotations, and other inquiries from clients and sales.

 

  • Prepares the required documentation, such as the Loan and Insurance Quotation Slip, Renewal Advice, and other ancillary product proposals.

 

  • Assist clients with Financing, Insurance, Claims, and other After-Sales unit concerns and coordinate with/refer said concerns to relevant units.

 

  • Monitor  Motor Car Insurance by calling the clients on their renewal prior and after expiry date of the policies

 

  • Cross-sell other ancillary products to increase production ( Sales and Aftersales )

B.ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION  (20%)

 

  1. PRIOR  RELEASE OF THE UNIT

 

  • Process banks and financing auto loan applications

 

  • Checking and ensuring completeness and authenticity of all required documents for submission to accredited banks.

 

  • Coordinates and confirms Bank Purchase Orders, Company Purchase Orders for details, processing is already in order and payment instructions.

 

  • Negotiates Dealer’s Income and terms from established companies under the guidance of F&I Manager.

 

  • Counter checks computations of rate and dealer income from various banks.

 

  • Make sure payments thru Financing and PO transactions are orderly communicated with banks and Sales Consultants.

 

  • Responsible in coordinating insurance requirements as prerequisite to all financing transactions both in house generated or bank PO referral.

 

  • Ensure that all Financing and Insurance documentation are  complete prior release of the unit.

 

  • Ensure that there are no unnecessary transactions between sales consultants, banks, insurance companies.

 

  • Prepares pertinent financing documents for customer presentation and signing.

B. ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION  (20%

 

  1. POST DELIVERY OF THE UNIT
  • Responsible for completeness of documents of the following: ( TAT is 1 day )
  • Financing /Leasing
  • Insurance
  • Extended Warranty

 

  • Collates all financing requirements and forward to Credit and Collection for booking immediately after delivery  ( TAT is 1 day )

 

  • Responsible for addressing Sales Admin-DSO for the immediate turn-over of documents and requirements.

 

  • Coordinates and monitors insurance applications to accredited insurance

 

  • Coordinates and assists Credit and Collection regarding collection follow-up with the banks with the completion, negotiation, and regularization of requirements.

 

  • Monitors monthly F& I performance.

3. System Updating (10% )

  • Responsible for checking and verifying the timely, accurate, complete entries of customer details to the CMI system about the following:
  • Financing Transaction
  • Down Payment Application
  • Amount Finance
  • Rate; Terms
  • Discount application and subsidies
  • Financing and Insurance computation and commission
  • Dealers Income of Financing loan
  • Premium computation and net premium payable.

 

 

  1. Other Administrative Function  (10% )
  • Maintains an organized filing system for policies and relevant documents

 

  • Diligently update the following reports to the Sales Admin Manager the status of the following :
  • Credit Application, Bank PO and credit inquiry status report.
  • Requirements and deficiencies status.
  • Booking Status Report and Collection Deficiencies

 

  • Perform specific tasks assigned in relation to financing and insurance functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Educational Requirement

College Graduate in any related Business Course, Consumer Studies, and Management Studies.

Job Related Experiences

At least 2-3 years of related experience in Automotive Industry or Finance
