Purpose of role
The Financial Business Partner plays a crucial role in supporting the performance and planning within the organization, ensuring financial health, compliance, and informed decision-making that contributes to overall business success.
Job role and responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis: support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Financial Reporting: support preparation and present accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management.
Cost Management: Monitor and analyze costs and expenses, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Compliance and Risk Management: Support compliance with BIR and Local Government authorities, financial regulations and standards, managing risk and implementing internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
Cash Flow Management: Support cash flow projections and working capital, ensuring the organization maintains sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, HR) to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of any financial discrepancies or issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are highly advantageous.
Experience: Several years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a proven track record in business partnership, financial management, taxation frameworks and analysis.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentation of financial information to diverse audiences.

Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Operations Management or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
· Professional certifications in Lean, Six Signa, or similar methodologies (e.g. Green Belt, Black Belt) are highly desirable.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Senior Analyst preferably within a multinational or large-scale organization.
· Knowledge of taxation framework, PEZA compliance and BIR regulatory framework
· Knowledge in IFRS and International Finance regulations and Reports.
· Knowledge of SAP, Concur, Basware, Coupa, Manage Engine is valued.
· With at least 2 years specifically focused on finance operations within a shared services environment.
· Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing improvement projects.
