Purpose of role

 We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Transformation Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in in driving process improvements, optimizing finance operations, and ensuring alignment with global standards. This role focuses on streamlining workflows, enhancing system efficiencies. By collaborating with key stakeholders, the Finance Transformation Manager ensures smooth implementation of new processes, system enhancements, and change management initiatives to drive long-term operational excellence.

Job role and responsibilities:

 

  1. Process Optimization: Continuously monitoring the performance of the process, identifying opportunities for improvement, driving process improvement initiatives and working with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
  2. System & Process Design: Understand the current workflow and process, identifying process inputs and outputs, designing the process steps and workflows, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and goals while accommodating the local variation & requirement by market
  3. System implementation: Provide guidance to the market finance team, facilitate knowledge transfer to local team to ensure they are capable maintain the system post implementation.
  4. Governance, Compliance, Risk Management: Ensuring that the process is compliant with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, monitoring adherence to internal controls, assess and mitigating risks associated with finance transformation projects.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, building relationships and promoting the value of the process, gathering feedback and incorporating suggestions for improvement, keep stakeholders informed about the project progress and any relevant updates.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to align finance transformation initiatives with overall organizational objectives.
  7. Performance Metrics: Tracking the key performance indicators (KPIs) defined which include financial, compliance, timeline, user satisfaction, accuracy, system reliability. Identify opportunities for improvement and demonstrating the impact of transformation efforts on the overall finance function.
  8. Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies within the finance team and other relevant departments. Ensuring that changes to the process are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
  9. Process Standardization: Ensuring that the process is consistent and standardized across all regions, functions and business units, align to Global finance standard & ways of working, driving the adoption of best practices and sharing knowledge and expertise across the organization.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES, & skills REQUIRED:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in finance transformation, shared services, or process improvement within a multinational organization.
    1. :
    • Finance Process Optimization – Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) and best practices for efficiency and compliance.
    • ERP & Digital Transformation – Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems, automation tools, and finance technology solutions.
    • Project Management – Ability to lead transformation initiatives, manage timelines, and align with business objectives.
    • Stakeholder Management – Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with senior leadership, finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Change Management – Expertise in driving process adoption, training, and managing resistance to change.
    • Analytical & Problem-Solving – Strong ability to assess finance operations, identify gaps, and recommend data-driven solutions.
    • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness – Understanding of finance controls, governance, and global regulatory requirements.
