OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
The Marketing Manager manages the retailer marketing and promotional activities to develop and maintain awareness of the Jaguar Land Rover brands in the local market place. The Assistant Marketing Manager also facilitates the development, execution and management of Sales, Aftersales and CRM marketing activities, including events, digital strategies, and campaign management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integrated Marketing Function
- Develops and supervise the delivery of Retailer marketing campaigns and plans for Events, Digital, PR, and Advertising for Sales and Aftersales within the approved budget and timeline;
- Coordinates with various suppliers, creative agencies, media partners and assigned Marketing Assistant for the team on the development and execution of marketing and promotional materials;
- Ensures all ATL and BTL marketing campaign assets and materials comply with Jaguar Land Rover brand guidelines and corporate identity (C.I.);
- Uses an understanding of the KPIs and Standards for the Marketing operation to manage own performance and department contribution to achieve the goals of All British Cars in sales volumes and share of voice within the market place;
- Supports the MarComms Manager (CMC) to provide up-to-date and accurate reporting of activities and campaigns.
- Public Relations & Events
- Create and manage engaging and informative press releases, press kits, newsletters, review and by-line article, for various channels and publications to boost media values and PR relations of JLR;
- Leverage existing media relationships while cultivating new contacts and opportunities within business and industry media with high-focus on lifestyle media;
- Ensure target achievement of 1 press release and experiential for each brand per month through different activities and campaigns;
- Maintain our online and offline brand presence in conformity with brand guidelines;
- Provides assistance in the planning, coordination, and execution of partnerships/sponsorship, product, service, and launch events.
Aftersales/Merchandise Marketing Function
- Develop strategic acquisition and retention activities on behalf of the Aftersales objectives and its ventures to drive growth and maximize immediate and long-term ROI, whether it be through organic activities or paid initiatives;
- Conceptualize branded goods campaign and push promotions to achieve target with the help of the assigned Marketing Assistant;
- Oversee implementation of Aftersales marketing activities and campaigns within approved budget;
Reporting and Budgeting
- Provide data, reports and analytical insight to the team by maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data (sales, inventory, traffic, brand and merchandise performance, customer feedback, etc.);
- Prepare and ensure timely submission of Monthly Marketing and Quarterly Plan reports to JLR APIO;
- Assist in the creation of the annual marketing and promotions budget with the MarComms Manager (CMC);
- Define and manage marketing budgets with a clear view on allocation requirements across PR, events, digital media, channel mix, platform requirements, etc;
- Work with the Sales and Product Planning Team in the annual sales forecasting exercise and in the regular Sales and Marketing meetings that include evaluation of sales achievement and the calibration of joint Brand and Sales programs in order to surpass or hit sales targets/objectives.
