SUMMARY

The Head of PR & Events Marketing for Inchcape Philippines is in-charge of managing the organization’s communication initiatives with media personnel, KOLs and influencers and third party partners. The duty includes overseeing a team of PR members to be able to delegate tasks, writing or editing press releases prior to publication and helping the company organize events that involve the media, the industry and the local community.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Reports to the Head of Marketing for Inchcape Philippines and aligns on overall plans in relation to PR & Events Marketing for Inchcape and its portfolio of brands
  • Develops a network of media and influencer contacts and manages a database of these partners for Inchcape Philippines, as well as ensuring a healthy relationship with these partners
  • Develops a team of agency partners who understand the brands tone and manner and negotiates on behalf of the company for the best pricing to ensure efficiency without compromising quality
  • Manages a team composed of individuals who have different skill sets in line with the 2 main functions: PR & Events Management
  • Responsible in ensuring that the team delivers based on the agreed set of KPIs for the role
  • Able to work with and align with the different brand strategy and management heads on the business and marketing objectives set and translate these to PR and event ideas and executions that are aligned with the objectives of each campaign or project
  • Manages the PR & Events budget together with the brand strategy and management heads
  • Manages the co-marketing initiatives of the brands working with the brand strategy and management head
  • Works with the other functional heads (Digital & Transformation, Customer Journey, Creative Head) to be able to formulate a complete Marketing Communications plan per campaign
  • Develops Sustainability programs with the team to align with campaign plans for each brand as well as the Responsible Business Framework: Places
  • Ensures regular reporting of function results as required and develops strategies; tactiocs and plans to perform the functions
  • Continously develops the PR & Events function along with the requirements of the company and its portfolio of brands.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate degree in any course related to the function and role required

 

EXPERIENCE:

  •  
  • Extensive experience in media management and event agency management
  • Experience in strategic planning and campaign planning
