About the Role

IC Automotive Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic Market Security Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of security operations across the market. This leadership role combines geopolitical awareness, threat intelligence, risk management, crisis response, and operational security to safeguard our people, assets, facilities, and business operations.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing security strategies, managing security risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening our ability to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents.


Key Responsibilities

Security Planning  

  • Assess potential security risks and threats and develop effective contingency and mitigation plans.
  • Partner with business leaders to implement security policies across all IC Automotive sites, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, and Operations to address security requirements and concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, government security organizations, and key security service providers.
  • Utilize threat intelligence resources and maintain a strong network of security professionals to identify, monitor, and assess emerging risks.
  • Conduct regular local and market-wide security threat and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations, standards, and legal requirements.

Security Operations  

  • Oversee and ensure the protection of physical assets, office locations, warehouses, and other facilities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of security risk assessments, physical security plans, operating procedures, and emergency response protocols.
  • Communicate security updates, procedures, and best practices effectively across the organization.
  • Provide expert advice regarding political, social, and security developments that may impact business operations.
  • Manage the installation, maintenance, and effectiveness of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
  • Lead security planning and risk mitigation for corporate events and customer-facing activities.
  • Establish and manage a journey management framework supporting employee travel and customer engagement activities.

Training & Awareness  

  • Design and deliver security awareness programs covering risk mitigation, emergency response, conflict management, and security procedures.
  • Partner with site leaders and managers to strengthen security ownership and support proactive risk management.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Crisis Management, Incident Response & Investigations  

  • Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
  • Support leadership in travel risk management decisions and assist employees during security-related emergencies.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, emergency responders, and external security agencies during incidents and crisis situations.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Country Security Manager, Market Security Manager, or similar corporate security leadership role.
  • Established network of security contacts across government, law enforcement, and private-sector security organizations.
  • Proven experience managing physical security systems and employee safety programs.
  • Strong background in risk management, emergency preparedness, incident response, and facility security operations.
  • Experience providing travel security advice, conducting security briefings, and managing responses to crisis situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
