Role Purpose

The Senior People Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role drives organizational effectiveness, talent management, culture, and employee engagement across assigned business units, ensuring delivery of Inchcape’s people agenda.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable people plans

  • Provide expert advice on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management

  • Support business transformation initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness

2. Talent Management & Development

  • Lead talent review and succession planning processes

  • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans

  • Partner with Learning & Development to deliver capability-building programs

3. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with Inchcape’s culture and values

  • Analyze engagement survey results and implement action plans

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization

4. Performance & Rewards

  • Support performance management cycles, ensuring consistency and fairness

  • Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and reward strategies

  • Partner with leaders on performance improvement plans and recognition programs

5. Employee Relations

  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters

  • Handle complex employee issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies

6. HR Operations & Governance

  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and processes

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (TA, C&B, L&D) for seamless HR delivery

  • Leverage HR data and analytics to drive decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field

  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a business partnering role

  • Experience in a multinational or matrix organization preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
