SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Tax Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. As a tax analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization’s tax compliance and optimizing tax strategies. You will work closely with accounting to analyze transactions and it’s tax implications, prepare accurate tax returns.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Tax Compliance

  • Prepare VAT, Withholding, CIT returns, including its attachments and ensure its timely filing
  • Prepare reconciliation of return to book balances, quarterly tax provisions and other reports as needed.
  • Assist in the annual local business tax renewal, particularly in the calculation of gross receipts
  • Support the Tax Lead during tax audits, including preparation of basic tax information, reconciliation schedule
  • Assist in the applications with the BIR (e.g., CAS, registration information updates, ATP, PTU)
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess impact and ensure compliance of the company
  • Handle day to day operational queries from other functions
  • Regular attendance in tax seminars and dialogues sponsored by the BIR and/or firms

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education
    •  A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related major or equivalent professional experience

Experience

    •  2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Licensure and Certification
    •  CPA preferred, but not required
