Purpose of role

 

The Treasury Specialist role sits with FP&A and will primarily be in-charge of day-to-day banking and treasury requirements. This role will report to the Head of FP&A and will collaborate with the respective key members to be able to effectively manage short term and long-term cash requirements of Inchcape Philippines. This position will be working onsite in Greenhills office.

This role covers all the seven (7) entities of Inchcape PH.

 

Job role and responsibilities:

 

  • Management of floorplan financing facilities including the following:
    • routing internally for documents sign off
    • submission of documents to the bank
    • payout
    • reconciliations
    • update of SRC monitoring
  • Manage daily banking requirements including all maintenance and administration
  • Executes fund transfers
  • Ensuring that all disbursements requests are properly funded
  • Cash Forecasting
  • Update of Daily Cash Position report
  • Supports the Finance Team in the bank statement requirements
  • Preparation of documentary requirements and liaising with the bank for bank account, credit card opening, credit facilities and amendment requirements.
  • Contributes to process improvements by adopting best practices and collaborating withothers furing projects that will impact cash management process.
  • Compliance with Treasury internal control requirements.
  • Safekeeping of important corporate documents
  • Ad hoc requests

 

skills and Experience required:

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights communicating effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making processes.
  • Proactive attitude, self motivated, with a willingness to take initiative, be curious and drive improvement in an ever changing, fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) advantageous. 
  • Experience with FX transactions
