The Supervisor - Workshop is responsible for his team efficiency and productivity.  Prepares his team for the daily workload and ensures that the parts and tools are ready for use. Distributes the repair order according to technician capacity and checks the work performed to ensure high work quality. Performs technician work in case of technician absence to ensure team productivity and efficiency.




• Meets and prepares the team for the daily workload.  
• Reviews the repair order and diagnosis report
• Distributes the repair orders to his team member according to their skill level (qualifications and capacity). 
• Ensures all parts needed are readily available as well as the required tools.
• Ensures preparation of vehicle to workbay 
• Provides practical assistance to the team members in technical and other job related problems.
• Checks the work performed by technician. 
• Coordinates with the job controller to minimizing waiting time.

• Ensure the proper care of tools and workshop equipment as well as cleanliness of work place
• Observe safety precautions at the work place.

• Reviews the repair order and diagnosis report
• Ensures a high level of team productivity and efficiency. 
• Monitors the attendance, punctuality and performance level of his team members.
• Inspect quality and completeness of the work carried out on the basis of the repair order
• Perform technician function in case of technician absence to ensure team productivity and efficiency

• Manage the day-to-day planning, operation and problem-solving of a complex problem to meet with the required service level components, standards and hours targets. 
• Work very closely with the team members to solve customer problems. Also needs to understand team problems and weaknesses and address these. Offers solutions and suggestions for process and product improvement to management.
