Our Finance team is seeking a Financial Reporting Lead to join our team in Americas with scope over 14 markets. In this position, you will be supporting the Regional Head of Financial Reporting in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the region, in accordance with IFRS and Group policies. Acting as a trusted business partner, the role supports both statutory and management reporting while providing insight into how business transactions impact the commercial performance of the organisation. It serves as a centre of expertise for technical accounting matters and consolidates regional reporting requirements. The role also acts as the main point of contact for local market finance teams and Group stakeholders, supporting audits and driving continuous improvement in financial reporting processes.
What you’ll do
- Support Financial Reporting Cycle: Coordinate monthly and half yearly close activities, including consolidation, submission to Group systems (BPC/SAP), and review of key balances.

Audit Coordination: Assist in preparing audit deliverables and responding to external audit queries, ensuring a smooth and timely audit process.

Technical Accounting Guidance: Provide support on technical matters such as provisions, impairments, lease accounting, and material judgement areas, working closely with local finance teams and Group Accounting (e.g. leases, hedge accounting, impairment testing).

Balance Sheet Reviews: Participate in periodic balance sheet reviews with local markets, focusing on the integrity and accuracy of financial data and compliance with policies.

Policy Implementation: Help drive the implementation of Group accounting policies and new IFRS standards across the region. Provide training and interpretation support as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and automation of financial reporting processes, including the use of shared services and centralised tools.
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to regional and local finance teams, fostering collaboration and proactively supporting commercial decision-making with high-quality financial insights and technical expertise.

Support Special Projects: Support transactions and projects such as business combinations, restructurings, or accounting system changes as required by the Regional Head of Financial Reporting.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be:

Professional in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experienced in financial reporting or audit, preferably in a multinational or regional role with multi-market or above market shared service centre structure

Having a strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting processes

Experienced with hedge accounting and related IFRS 9 requirements (Desirable)

Oriented to detail and possess advanced analytical skills

Having strong communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent in Spanish and English

Experienced with SAP, BPC, or similar reporting tools preferred
