Our People Department is searching for its next People Director Chile, who will have the mission to define, design and implement the people strategy for the market - including to create the best place to work- to attract, develop and engage world class talent, as well as implement the right organizational structure that supports achieving our business strategy to sustain growth. Translate business strategy into a mid- and long-term talent strategy for the organization and help drive a performance-based culture that has the capability to change and adapt as the environment and competitive context changes.
Among the main functions to be performed are:
- Leadership & Strategy: Contributes to the development and implementation of business strategies at the local leadership team level to ensure balancing of priorities across the company. Understands the business to contribute to strategy development. Partner the Local Leadership Team in thinking strategically about their people's needs, including the development of talent, succession planning, organizational design, under others. Assesses and coaches the Executive team, consolidating their leadership in the market, helping them to enhance their capabilities and strength as Leadership Team. Drives Change and Transformation, getting involved with business needs (f.ex: Ditec) and contributing with strategies that would drive efficiency. Create the journey to work as ONE Inchcape.
- Culture: Influences a positive culture, celebrating wins, leveraging our values and living the the company Strategy to create programs and initiatives that inspire and recognize people. Strategically define the Master Plan for the organizational transformation, and implementation path to improve the Be Heard Survey Results, making Things Happen. Leads Change in the organization and influence the Leadership Team to do that as well.
- Talent Management: Contributes to design and implement strategies and tactics to attract, retain, and promote a skilled and diverse workforce. Designs Organizational Structure with a formal succession planning and executes development process to support business growth targets. Challenges Org Design when needed.
- Compliance: Monitors global economic and regulatory trends to propose timely risk mitigation strategies. Oversees global site compliance across all HR relevant areas and ensures investigations/audits/special projects are conducted through completion.
- Program & Budget Mgmt: Oversees all HR-relevant in-market programs, including rewards, performance, recruitment, payroll, with a focus on global consistency and alignment with company strategies. Manages forecast, annual employee cost management and supports senior leaders in the administration of this area. Design the Journey that will allow the delivery of Brilliant Basics and provide best-in-class People Services. Can discuss at all levels People related KPIs and provide data insights that will contribute with the Business Needs.
- Understands the process details where needed and is able to improve them, without losing the strategic focus.
- Internal communications: Lead and manage the internal communications area, as well as the initiatives related with the responsible business area.
We will match you if you meet the following requirements:

10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years leading teams across various HR disciplines and ability to lead virtual teams.

Strong business and financial acumen to partner with the business; with demonstrated experience contributing to decision making at senior leadership levels and guiding strategy implementation.

Executive level presentation skills, both in demonstration of data and speaking. Ability to prepare and present coherent plans and initiatives considering multiple change management angles.

Understanding and experience of how to implement initiatives in compensation & benefits, talent attraction, talent development, internal communications, training & development. Experience working close to CoE´s desirable.

Ability to manage internal investigations related with confidential issues raised through the compliance confidential line.

Experience in dealing and negotiating with unions. Local Desirable Labor Laws knowledge.

Desirable experience with Integration processes.
