Our IT Operations team is looking for an IT Ops Security Engineer Associate who will play a vital role in maintaining the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of Inchcape's IT infrastructure, systems, and data. You will work closely with Cybersecurity and IT Operations teams to identify vulnerabilities, deploy security patches, and support remediation initiatives across our global technology environment.

 

What you'll do

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of IT systems, applications, and network devices using industry-standard security tools.
  • Analyse identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation activities based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure the smooth execution of vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Apply security patches across multiple systems and applications using both automated and manual deployment processes.
  • Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to strengthen the security posture of the organization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to vulnerability management and patch management processes.

 

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of vulnerability management, cybersecurity principles, and patch management practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while making sound decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and customer-service oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams across different time zones.
  • English proficiency required.
