This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, support strategic transformation initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management and control frameworks across a global organization.
Your role
As a Senior Internal Auditor – IT & Programme Assurance, you will be responsible for delivering risk-based audits across IT, digital services, system implementations and strategic programmes.
Working closely with the Senior Internal Audit Manager, you will support the successful delivery of the Internal Audit Plan and help strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering IT, Digital and Programme Assurance audits across the Group
- Evaluating IT general controls, system implementations, programme governance and operational technology controls
- Assessing risks related to ERP, CRM and other business-critical systems
- Reviewing programme delivery methodologies, including SDLC and Agile environments
- Identifying control gaps, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement
- Preparing clear and impactful audit reports and presenting findings to management
- Supporting stakeholders in the implementation and closure of audit actions
- Contributing to the annual risk assessment and audit planning process
- Collaborating with Internal Controls, Risk Management, Compliance and other assurance functions
- Supporting the continuous development of the IT and Programme Assurance audit universe
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Europe, Africa and Group functions
Who are we looking for?
Apply if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CISA, CIA, ACA, CPA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, IT Risk, Technology Controls or Programme Assurance
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC), ERP, CRM and programme governance frameworks
- Experience auditing system implementations, digital transformation initiatives and technology environments
- Knowledge of control frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, NIST, CIS or ISO 27001
- Understanding of software development and delivery methodologies, including SDLC and Agile
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to present complex risk and control matters to technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%)
