Senior Officer-Product Planning

The Automotive Product Planning Officer plays a vital role in shaping the future of our vehicle offerings. This position focuses on automotive product planning, leveraging product and pricing expertise to drive innovative solutions. The officer will develop and enhance analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, ensuring our products to excel from competitor products. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role will contribute to strategic decision-making and the successful launch of cutting-edge automotive products.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor marker trends, competitor activities and customer preferences 
• Development in product specifications, product portfolio, deployment planning, brand ownership, and support on OEM projects 
• Set-up and on-going maintenance of product specifications, define positioning and identify USP/BIC
• Support in product launch, training, marketing and market analysis
• Maintain and support POS configuration updates 
• Support other ad hoc projects as assigned 
• Product update and up-to-date communications with all related internal customers 
• Direct and supporting function in OEM communications 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor Degree or above preferable in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related disciplines 
• Excellent knowledge in MS office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook 
• Strong analytical skills and interest in automotive market trends 
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment 
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
