Our Aftersales Team is seeking a Claims Manager to join our team in Singapore. In this position you will collaborate with a dynamic, diverse team to deliver exceptional service and repairs bringing your expertise and passion for quality to drive your career forward.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the processing of insurance claims to ensure the procedure is handled efficiently, accurately, and in a manner that protects the interests of the insured parties while also providing satisfactory customer service. Resolve customer complaints & short fail of services
- Liaison between clients, adjusters, service providers, and all related parties
- Managing all frontline and workshop operation in an efficient manner
- Lead a team of claim officers, provide training and guidance as well as managing their work performance
- Proficient in negotiation and settle claims with third-party claimants, insurers, law firms, external service providers and workshops accurately and timely
- Ensure all claim matters are resolve adherence to NIMA Guideline and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- To facilitate the achievement KPIs target set for frontline
- Formulating long and short-term strategies to ensure the profitability for existence of B&P. Coach and guide ensure all the business dealings are ethical and meet Inchcape Code of Conduct
- Responsible for service center’s profit and loss
- Maintaining a good working relationship with all insurance companies
- Ensure Insurance protocol is adhered to accordingly
- Under-take any ad-hoc duties or initiatives
About you
- Preferably with Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
- At least 5 years of relevant technical and managerial work experience in automotive claims and handling claims disputes professionally
- Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Must have a Valid Class 3 driving license
- Proficient in local laws and regulations
- Strong leadership qualities, effective interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- Able to adapt and work independently in a fast-paced environment
