Overview

The Rewards Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising rewards operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, ensuring efficiency, data integrity, and excellence in everything we do. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving process improvement, enhancing system capabilities, and delivering a consistent and engaging user experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Operational Execution: Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of total rewards operations in the APAC region, including administering salary review, bonus payouts, share, recognition and benefits programs. Conduct regular review to measure program effectiveness.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously review, design, and enhance rewards processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Develop Measure rewards program effectiveness.
  • Systems & Data Excellence: Oversee rewards systems and tools, ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and integration with wider HR systems.
  • Mobility Case Management: As the mobility champion for the region to support cost estimation, coordinate support for various types of assignments with respective service providers and internal HR teams.
  • Data & Market Intelligence: Coordinate participation in external compensation and benefits surveys, ensure accurate and timely data submission, analyze survey results to identify gaps and trends, and translate data into actionable insights by building dashboards and reports.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all rewards activities and policies adhere to local employment legislation, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards. Maintain documentation including plan and policies for transparency, approval records for audit trails and governance compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Regional Rewards, HR Business Partners, Finance, Regional leadership, Payroll, HRIS, and more, to ensure smooth and aligned processes. Manage relationships with various vendors in the areas of relocation, tax services, compensation / benefits consulting and data services, to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits management.
  • Proven experience in rewards operations across multiples markets in the APAC region
  • Deep expertise in rewards processes, systems, and operational delivery in complex matrix organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits frameworks, pay benchmarking, employment legislations and regulatory environments across multiple APAC countries.
  • Possess a collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively.
  • Experience managing or implementing HRIS and rewards-specific platforms (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle).
  • Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and navigating cultural nuances.
