         PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As IT Distribution Excellence (DE) Business Analyst in the Europe & Africa (EU&A) Region you will play a key role in EU&A IT Solutions Delivery Team to facilitate successful DE technology and business change aligned with a demanding Distribution Excellence roadmap.

This role will be specifically aligned with the EU DE solutions delivery Portfolio, working alongside Project and Portfolio leads as well as the EU DE programme business stakeholders, and be responsible for standard Business Analyst delivery expectations, as outlined below, for this critical part of the Inchcape business.

The DE Portfolio aims to deliver critical solutions such as new Umbraco Websites, including supporting website optimisation projects, Salesforce (DXP) implementation for new car and distribution businesses, BI / Analytics ‘toolkits’ and Data Warehouse solutions, all aimed at improving the EU New car and distribution business efficiency and commercial performance.

The role will be responsible for capturing information to help define DE solutions for business problems and opportunities, this will happen through in-depth stakeholder engagement, investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information.

The EU DE Business Analysts are expected to become technology product and business process subject matter experts for their related fields of expertise, supporting and advising the business accordingly on any changes that would affect the solution or related business processes in that area.

The role will be part of the EU&A IT Solution Delivery Team, working closely with Portfolio, Project Management and PMO roles as well as the Global / EU DE Programme stakholders, supporting alignment with both the Global Inchcape Accelerate strategy and related business requirements.

Inchcape also has a strong global delivery methodology through core Global Platforms and global Digital Delivery Centres (based in Asia and LatAm). A key part of this role will be working closely and collaboratively with this delivery capability.
