What’s the opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join the team.

 

The Account Manager is responsible for developing business partnerships with our major clients by maintaining customer service, commercial, and operational relationships both externally and internally. This role involves driving new initiatives, creating win/win outcomes for both our customers and the business, and providing continuous added value services, logistics direction, and supply chain innovation for future growth.

 

Further to the above the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer service and operational goals are met.
  • Drive new business initiatives and enhance business opportunities through value-added services.
  • Manage Fleet Conversions Administrative responsibilities at Erskine Park.
  • Foster internal relationships within Inchcape and AutoNexus to achieve business outcomes.
  • Conduct performance reviews and continuous improvements for customer accounts.
  • Support business development efforts, including tender submissions and contract renewals.
  • Provide regular reports on customer activities and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures and participate in improvement activities.
  • Exhibit and promote Inchcape values and behaviors to drive a culture of accountability and collaboration.   

 

About You

To be successful you must possess the following:

  • 5+ years of account management experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Marketing – desirable not essential
  • Full driver's license
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management.
  • Advanced analytical and negotiation skills in commercial contracts.
  • Ability to manage internal and external commercial/customer relationships.
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
  • Innovative mindset for financial returns.
  • Self-motivated team player with a "Can Do" attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High business acumen.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
