Automotive Diagnostic Technician  
Location: Artarmon NSW 2064 
Details: Full Time | Mon – Fri | 8:00am – 4:00pm

What You’ll Do 

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, including interpreting warning lights and system alerts 

• Use advanced diagnostic tools and electronic systems to accurately identify issues 

• Manage and escalate technical cases, including raising and tracking diagnostic tickets where required 

• Carry out road tests to confirm fault resolution and ensure optimal vehicle performance 

• Support and collaborate with the wider Service Team by providing technical expertise and guidance 

• Take ownership of complex diagnostic work, applying strong problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality outcomes 

About You 

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with a relevant trade certification (Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent) 

• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician, ideally with 7+ years in the automotive industry 

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability, with a high level of attention to detail 

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information 

• A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service 

• Current and valid driver’s licence 

• Experience working with European or Peugeot vehicles highly desirable  

• Additional manufacturer training or certifications beyond Bronze level highly regarded
