What is the opportunity?
An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the team.
Although this role will be based in Australia it will be supporting our team in NZ and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant – NZ and further to the above the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinating all aspects of the general ledger
- Preparing and revieing account reconciliation and accuracy of trial balance and general ledger postings
- Tax compliance and reporting
- Global financial reporting
- Establish fixed assets policies and procedures
- Approve fixed asset transactions and exceptions
- Sub-Ledger to GL reconciliation
- Bank reconciliations

The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a similar role
- Have an understanding of accounting standards and accounting policies
- Have experience using ERP systems
- Have an understanding of tax legislation and reporting
- Be CA/CPA Qualified
- Have the ability to adapt to change
- Be a team player
- Be committed to meeting deadlines
