What’s the opportunity?

As a Panel Beater, you will play a crucial role in repairing vehicles efficiently up to business standards as well as working hand in hand with the panel shop coordinator and spray painter.

Key Responsibilities

• Panel Beating: General panel beating & repairing of new and used vehicles. Small to medium jobs.
• Workflow: Organise workflow and liaise with spray painter & supervisor.
• Quoting: Ability to quote or willingness to learn in future is a bonus. 
• Relationships: Ability to work alongside and build relationships with external contractors who regularly come in to work alongside the team.
• Every employee has a responsibility to proactively manage risk and ensure a safe work environment. Responsibilities for this role include:
  • Follow standard safe work procedures
  • Identify and report hazards, both physical & psychosocial
  • Follow reasonable instructions
  • Act responsibly for the safety of self and others
  • Participate in HSE improvement activities
  • Wear designated personal protective equipment
  • Ensure tools are in a safe condition before use
  • Adhere to site safety rules

What We Are Looking For:

• Panel beating license 
• Panel beating & general vehicle repairs
• Quoting experience is preferred, but not essential
• Excellent time management 
• Ability to work within a team environment
