SAP EWM Business Analyst (12-Month Contract)
Location: Chullora, NSW
Job Details: On-site | 12-month contract

Our Story
At Inchcape, we are a global leader in automotive distribution and retail, representing some of the world’s most iconic vehicle brands. Our commitment to excellence ensures that we deliver outstanding customer experiences and operational efficiency across our business.

About the role
We are looking for an SAP EWM Business Analyst to join our AutoNexus team at our Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) Chullora site, to play a key role in enhancing warehouse system performance for one of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world.

This is a hands-on, on-site role where you’ll work closely with warehouse operations and digital teams to improve SAP EWM functionality, resolve system issues, and deliver meaningful enhancements.

You’ll be embedded within a fast-paced logistics environment, managing a pipeline of system improvements while collaborating with offshore developers and business stakeholders to drive real operational impact.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bridging operations and technology, solving complex problems, and contributing to large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate warehouse requirements into SAP EWM solutions
  • Manage and prioritise a pipeline of system enhancements and defects
  • Act as the key link between warehouse teams and digital/SAP delivery teams
  • Support system design, testing, deployment and issue resolution
  • Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes and systems
  • Work with offshore development teams to deliver system changes
  • Track outcomes and ensure enhancements deliver real operational value
  • Maintain clear documentation, process mapping and system updates
  • Support training, adoption and ongoing system usage

About you

You’re a practical, hands-on Business Analyst with experience in SAP and warehouse or logistics environments. You enjoy working close to operations, understanding how things work on the ground, and improving systems to make them more efficient.

You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and navigating a fast-moving delivery environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience working with SAP (ideally EWM or warehouse management systems)
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Experience supporting SAP enhancements, upgrades or implementations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional or offshore teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

We offer you

  • High Impact Role: Play a key role in improving warehouse operations for a major automotive partner
  • Project Exposure: Work on a live SAP environment with ongoing enhancements and transformation initiatives
  • Hands-On Environment: Be embedded within operations and see the real outcomes of your work
  • Industry Leader: Join a global organisation shaping the future of automotive logistics
