Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and driving the talent acquisition function through delivering strategic end-to-end recruitment and onboarding that will attract and retain top talent, improve organisational capability, encourage internal career mobility while maintaining the highest level of customer engagement.
The role is also responsible for designing and implementing innovative talent acquisition solutions and services, including the monitoring, analysis and assessment of the Talent Acquisition function to effectively integrate with a range of organisational talent management activities and achieve overall operational excellence.
The role provides leadership and development to a team of talent acquisition partners (and partnering closely with the sourcing team) in identifying, attracting and onboarding talent to efficiently and effectively meet evolving and changing organisational needs, and ensuring alignment with talent, culture, organisational development.
This role has the overall responsibility for developing talent acquisition strategies, including with workforce planning, ultimately creating strong talent pipelines with the skills as well as the mindsets that create the high-performance culture needed to deliver our Accelerate + strategy.

Executive and Hiring Managers, People Director, People Business partners, Payroll, Talent acquisition community, APAC sourcing team, external Recruitment Agencies, People Services, Seek, LinkedIn, pre-employment vendors, Technology Vendors, Government agencies, Immigration agencies and external candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s Accelerate + strategy and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with the executive and senior leadership teams to understand business needs and workforce requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, industry professionals, and recruitment partners to create a robust talent pipeline.
- Influence Hiring Managers (and other key stakeholders) on the introduction and adoption of any newly developed talent acquisition enhancements.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding.
- Stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and trends in talent acquisition and workforce management.
- Leverage competitive intelligence to advise leadership on hiring strategies.
Employer Branding
- Enhance the Inchcape’s employer brand to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
- Implementation of our global employer value proposition and employer brand marketing strategy, aligning and embedding these to workforce planning, organisational development and talent management strategies.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process and implement strategies to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
Operational Excellence
- Optimize recruitment processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Provide a comprehensive suite of metrics to key stakeholders which provide insights into recruitment performance and effectiveness and present reports to senior leadership teams.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
- Partner with COE for continuous enhancement.
People Leadership

Experience requirements
- Proven extensive experience in leading and delivering innovative talent acquisition services to improve service delivery in a dynamic and fast paced organisation.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, Applicant tracking systems, and HR technologies.
- Strong knowledge of end to end recruitment, employer branding, and sourcing strategies.
- Experience with SuccessFactors Recruitment module highly preferred.
Qualifications, Certificates & Licence requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources management or related fields, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing talent acquisition teams.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Passion for attracting and developing talent in a diverse workforce.
- The ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the best result for the business
- Proficient in dealing with ambiguity, changing landscape, competing priorities
- Familiarity with AI-driven recruitment tools and best practices
