- Define and drive the enterprise application development strategy, ensuring consistent adoption of Azure reference architectures, cloud governance, and AI service standards.
- Lead the design and delivery of full-stack and AI-driven solutions, including modern web applications, microservices, GenAI assistants/agents, and enterprise integrations.
- Build and govern reusable GenAI capabilities such as orchestration patterns, tool/function calling frameworks, prompt lifecycle management, safety controls, and knowledge systems including RAG and vector search.
- Partner with Enterprise Architects and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
- Oversee Azure-based platforms and services including AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AKS, API Management, App Services, Data Factory, and Power Platform solutions.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering teams, driving best practices in architecture, code reviews, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, cloud resources, and AI consumption while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance, security, and operational standards.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or people management with end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Strong Azure cloud architecture expertise and experience with enterprise application development or GenAI/LLM solutions.
- Proven experience designing scalable architectures, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- English and/or Spanish proficiency.
