Our DAP platform is seeking a MLOps Lead is a leadership role responsible for ensuring that Data Science and AI solutions are successfully operated in production, with ownership of deployment, monitoring, support, incident management, and continuous improvement processes. The role is accountable for the performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability of AI products and models, ensuring they deliver value consistently across markets. Working closely with the Data Science & AI Technical Lead, who defines the technical architecture and standards, the MLOps Lead ensures those solutions run effectively in real-world environments by driving MLOps best practices, service reliability, operational excellence, and lifecycle management at scale.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Extensive experience in MLOps, ML Engineering, or Production Operations, supporting Data Science and AI solutions in complex, large-scale environments.
  • Strong expertise with Azure and Databricks, including building and operating production-grade machine learning pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with ML lifecycle management tools (e.g., MLflow), CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, versioning, and release automation.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and maintaining production AI systems, including model performance, data quality, observability, incident management, and service reliability.
  • Strong understanding of production governance and change management, including validation, traceability, rollback strategies, and risk management.
  • Experience leading and developing distributed engineering teams, with the ability to drive accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Technical leaders while balancing reliability, scalability, cost, and operational risk.

 

About you

 

  • Strong SOC operations experience, including hands-on investigation of complex security alerts and incidents in a Level 2 or Level 3 analyst capacity
  • Deep technical knowledge of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, email security, identity, cloud, endpoint and ticketing platforms, supported by broad experience across enterprise IT environments, including Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, networking, authentication and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to lead shifts, prioritise work, manage escalations and make sound operational decisions under pressure. 
  • Strong understanding of common attack techniques, incident response processes, threat intelligence, malware analysis concepts, phishing investigations and account compromise workflows.
  • Ability to work with the Head of SOC to define quarterly goals, translate priorities into practical objectives, and support delivery through regular review and follow-up.  
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, operational discipline, excellent attention to detail, knowledge sharing, and maintaining a high-performing, resilient SOC service.
