Inchcape Automotive Retail (NZ) Limited is looking s looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sales Consultant to join our team at our KGM & LDV dealership in Takanini. 

In this key role, you will not only guide customers through the vehicle purchase process but also mentor junior sales consultants, drive sales strategies, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. 

Your Mission:

Deliver exceptional experiences that turn prospects into loyal customers. From the moment a customer walks through our doors, you’ll be their guide—building rapport, understanding their needs, and matching them with the perfect vehicle. You’ll also play a key role in our aftermarket sales, ensuring customers have access to the best products to enhance their driving experience.

What You'll Do:

• Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly personal sales targets. Be an advocate for our finance, insurance, and aftermarket solutions.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide an outstanding customer experience at every touchpoint. Build trust and maintain positive relationships throughout the buying process.
• Embrace Continuous Improvement: Show passion for our brands, seek personal growth, and contribute to our team’s success. Be ready to challenge the status quo and navigate new ways forward.
• Maintain Professionalism: Keep our showroom in top shape, manage your customer diary effectively, and ensure all paperwork is completed to the highest standard.
• Mentor and Support: Guide junior sales consultants, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help develop a high-performing team.
• Assist the Sales Manager: Support strategic sales initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

What We’re Looking For:

• Customer-Focused Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a sales role where you’ve demonstrated your ability to deliver great experiences.
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow alongside your teammates.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with customers both in person and through digital platforms.
• Drive and Determination: A full NZ driver’s license and a passion for helping customers find the vehicle that fits their needs.
