Atkins Kroll is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, managing billing and collections, applying payments, and supporting timely cash flow across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections.
  • Generate accurate and timely customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile customer and intercompany accounts, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with Sales, Service, and Operations teams.
  • Process and accurately apply customer payments through check, ACH, credit card, and wire transfers.
  • Prepare aging reports, cash forecasting support, month-end schedules, and documentation while assisting with journal entries and financial close activities.
  • Support audits, financial projects, and global accounts receivable processes while providing guidance to the global services team.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, payment processing, and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
