Atkins Kroll is seeking a customer-focused and energetic BDC Service Agent to join our Business Development Center (BDC). This role serves as an important first point of contact for customers by managing inbound and outbound communications, scheduling appointments, and supporting both sales and Aftersales teams.
The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where organization and responsiveness are key. In this role, you will help ensure a smooth customer journey while contributing to dealership growth through appointment setting, lead follow-up, and excellent customer service.
What you’ll do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online inquiries from customers.
- Schedule and confirm service and sales appointments with customers and dealership teams.
- Follow up on internet leads and phone inquiries to convert prospects into dealership appointments.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update interactions in the CRM system.
- Use dealership platforms such as VinSolutions, Xtime, CDK, and other tools to support BDC functions.
- Confirm appointments with customers and consultants one day in advance using the customer’s preferred communication method.
- Distribute appointments fairly to sales consultants and relay service messages to service advisors.
- Ask customers questions to understand their needs and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Handle customer questions and objections professionally while delivering excellent service.
- Track daily activities and provide reporting to dealership management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Atkins Kroll brands positively.
- Attend department meetings and follow company policies and procedures.
About you
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in call center, sales, or customer service roles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records in a CRM system.
- Comfortable working with dealership software and digital communication platforms.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
