Bodyshop Admin Clerk

Atkins Kroll is looking for a customer-focused and organized Bodyshop Admin Clerk to join our Bodyshop team. In this role, you will provide administrative, cashiering, and customer service support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Bodyshop. You will work closely with customers, estimators, technicians, insurance companies, and management to deliver an efficient repair experience while maintaining accurate records and timely documentation.

What you'll do

• Welcome customers, answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Process payments, prepare daily deposits, issue receipts, and maintain accurate repair order and financial records.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain repair order documentation, vendor invoices, purchase orders, and insurance paperwork.
• Coordinate with customers and insurance companies regarding vehicle status, documentation, and outstanding payments.
• Monitor repair order files, customer follow-ups, work-in-progress reports, and support quality control inspections.
• Assist Service Advisors and Estimators with customer and vehicle information, administrative tasks, and departmental reporting.
• Support daily Bodyshop operations by maintaining organized records, attending meetings and training, and performing additional administrative duties as assigned.

About you

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of experience in administrative support, cashiering, or customer service.
• Experience in an automotive dealership, collision center, or insurance-related environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable handling cash transactions, preparing deposits, and maintaining confidential records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn dealership management systems.
