Morrico Equipment is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our Parts team. In this role, you will process customer transactions, manage cash and credit payments, support invoicing and accounts receivable activities, and provide professional service to customers.

What you’ll do

  • Process customer payments accurately by cash, credit card, check, and other approved payment methods
  • Apply payments to customer accounts and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change as appropriate
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service in person and over the phone
  • Greet customers and provide general information and assistance
  • Answer incoming calls and direct customers to the appropriate department or provide requested information
  • Assist with customer invoicing and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Communicate with customers regarding account balances, invoices, and payment status
  • Calculate and reconcile payments received against total sales
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
  • Reconcile cash drawers and report discrepancies to management
  • Follow established cash handling, accounting, and internal control procedures
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About you

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in cashiering, customer service, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Accurate and dependable when handling cash and financial transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of accounts receivable and payment processing preferred
  • Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling customer and financial information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
