Clean and detail vehicles both exterior and interior according to dealership specifications and under time allowance specified under AK policy. During high volume customer service hours, detailers will perform as valets for service departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Washes vehicle exterior cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambs.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface.
Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and body paint quality.
Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
Replaces missing or defective small parts.
Keeps work area neat and clean.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Reports any damages immediately to management.
As valet, personnel will greet customer, perform vehicle inspection, and personally hand customer off to Service Advisor prior to delivering vehicle to lot and giving keys to Controller
Reports to work everyday as scheduled.
Attends departmental meetings as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure
Must have a valid Guam driver’s license.
