This person will manage the financial activities of the business while providing support for FP&A activities. They will ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial services by managing all aspects of the GL, AR and AP processes.
This position will focus on daily financial performance including adherence to Inchcape InControl financial standards, policies, processes and reporting. This position will collaborate with key business stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Manage the month end closing process ensuring all deliverables are met
Provide necessary inputs to process standard/ recurring journals enabling the team to prepare and process journals.
Approve journals in accordance with the established Journal approval Matrix
Review balance sheet reconciliation schedules and support resolution of variances with Guam/Saipan business
Support the preparation of weekly cash forecasts
Prepare working capital and financial forecasts on weekly basis, or as needed
Prepare the annual operating budget and quarterly updates to the plan
Analyze variances in monthly management reports and share findings and proposed resolutions with the management team
Provide high quality insight to support the business and help drive profitability
Support process improvement initiatives
Support senior manager with requests for ad hoc analysis
Manage the annual audit process with our external Auditors
Manage compliance to InControl standards pertaining to Internal Control protocols to be followed by this role.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or a related discipline
Background in financial accounting
Understanding of accounting standards and accounting policies
Experience in statutory report
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Understanding of tax legislation and reporting
