SUMMARY
|
The General Ledger Lead is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate
and compliant financial documents.
|
|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
|
- Oversight of the GBS GL team and Senior Accountant
- Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts
- Ensure that all bank and other reconciliations are completed time and
- variances are addressed.
- Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their
- duties as needed
- Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances
- are correct.
- Review of balance sheet reconciliation with the frequency established
- Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and
- provide accounting support
- To be able to complete all month end activities with the specified deadline
- Control owner of all GL related ICS Controls
- Assist and/or spearhead internal/external audits
- Ensure that operational standard is reflected in the GL functions
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
- Handle interdepartmental requests related to GL
- Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management.
- Assists with related special projects as required
- Maintains professional appearance and neat work area
- Attends departmental meetings when necessary
- Reports to work on time everyday as scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS
|
- Education
- Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred
- Experience
- 2-4 years of related accounting experience preferred
|
